Robert (Bob)'s Story
After High School, I worked as a Bellhop to earn money for college, I went to Cypress College, then on to CSULB. Carrying full class loads and working full time. I don't know how I did it, but I still managed to have a Lot of fun.
I graduated with a degree in both Graphic Design and Art History. I have been employed by the Walt Disney Company for 27 years now, and still enjoy every moment I am working... What's not to like?.. I get paid to draw, play on the Computer and be at Disneyland each day! (Oh, and I do get to ride a Bike through the park when it is closed)
I was finally able to marry my Partner of 26...Expand for more
years in September of 2008. In October of that same year, the people of California decided that people like me can no longer marry our partners. That we don't have relationships that are to be honored, and upheld by law. That we are somehow less that everyone else.
Think.... Should a majority be allowed to vote to take rights away from a minority? Would men have voted to allow women to vote? Would the south have voted to allow Blacks to have civil rights? NO.. it wouldn't have happened... (Should gays be allowed to ban divorce?)... (That bill will be in the ballot soon)
